Asp formview itemupdating

Old Values has all values of fields bound on template. Form View2 talks to my Activities table and has an Item Template, Insert Item Template and an Edit Item Template.

The problem is that during Item Updating event of Form View, New Values table is empty. Form View1 talks to my Opportunity table and has an Item Template and an Edit Item Template.

This is driving me batty as I cannotdo anything with my data.

I was then able to go back to my test page and drop an ODS connector on there and attach to the custom select and update routines. I created the Details View Data Binging sub which populates the field using a datatable 4. Everything works with any issues, just no data is ever returned. Mode Changing '# When the form mode changes we handle how the form loads and what it looks like here Select Case e. Edit) 'Bind Details View() 'Put into insert mode Case Details View Mode. Read Only) Bind Details View() End Select End Sub Protected Sub Details View1_Item Updating(By Val sender As Object, By Val e As System.

As far as I can tell, the problem is that the program is not passing updated information to the New Values array that you can access from the Item Updating event args. The code and markup looks fine to me, in fact I have a page with similar information on it that works fine. That Form View is nearly identical to one on the page that doesn't work; in fact, I copied and pasted the markup to keep the formatting correct.

I've been over the page a bunch of times and I can't see anything wrong jumping out at me. I will try to refactor to access from the Northwind database, and I'm going to attempt to rebuild the page as well. Hi Everyone, I am having a massive issue trying to get custom data into my DV. I created a Item Updating mode to handle the item update. I create a USER and EMAILUSER class and populated them with their corresponding attributes. Non of my fields are Template fields and they are all databound. Details View Mode Event Args ) Handles Details View1. Non of my fields are Template fields and they are all databound. Details View Mode Event Args ) Handles Details View1. I had created all of the databindings and everything was working very well. All I want to do is intercept the New Values and put them in my custom data solution. Details View Update Event Ar gs) Handles Details View1. My custom data routine that I was using to bind data to my Details View was comming from the active directory. This is driving me batty as I cannotdo anything with my data.Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Msdn Web site.If you choose to participate, the online survey will be presented to you when you leave the Msdn Web site.

"I like the fact that all the queer principal characters in the show are played by straight people."--Anthony Rapp as quoted in The Rent Bible. It turns out that he and Fontana are my least favorite in the history of L&O. His characterization of Green seems so whiny and vulnerable, it just keeps me from connecting with the character. I totally forgot about that, and how they always mention that Anthony Rapp was the only queer one.
